Art for a Better Future: IKJ Explores Peace with ISI and ITB

Peace is not a gallery ornament—it’s a question carved into every brushstroke. At “Art for Peace and a Better Future,” IKJ’s FSRD stood alongside ISI Yogyakarta, ISI Surakarta, and ITB, not just to paint but to wrestle with the weight of humanity, ecology, and time. Every canvas became less about beauty, more about survival—an archive of our yearning to endure without tearing each other, or the earth, apart.
In this dialogue of 31 works, IKJ’s presence is not just academic—it’s existential. The collaboration is a reminder that art is never neutral: it confronts, it consoles, it asks whether peace is still possible in an unraveling world. And in that asking, IKJ’s voice refuses silence—it insists on hope, even when hope feels endangered.
